I know this may be an answer you don't want, and I know people need support, but asking a forum that lets you keep away your biggest fears you never have to face is not how you overcome. It's like going into the middle of a forest, wanting the highway noise. Just set yourself in those woods (figurative) away from the noise of social media, and instead of asking how do you find peace?

I live in the suburbs close to an international airport and railways. Noise in the background becomes second nature.
I also have a cabin in the north woods, no traffic, no airplanes, no railroads. Yet the woods are filled with other noises. The first few nights are disconcerting too quiet, then you hear the critter sounds and winds through the trees.
I adapt. They are all part of the environment I live in. I don't fight it but appreciate it for what it is.

My daughter was issues with this
We do a few things
She has airpods to play calming music
She has ear plugs if things are to loud
And noise cancelling headphones for really bad moments

I'm going to assume that moving somewhere else isn't an option.
I would probably turn my TV up real loud in order to drown out the noise. I really can't think of anything else to do.
