I did it once for reasons I'd rather not discuss. There was no follow-up by the court. They can't prove you received the summons (mail gets misdelivered all the time), so I figured the risk of getting in trouble was minimal. Also, I know people who've thrown out every jury duty summons they've ever received and never suffered any consequences for it.
