Can I ignore my jury duty letter? Or is that too risky? I really don’t feel comfortable attending.

Used to be you got the jury duty letter by registered mail. You had to sign for it so they knew you received it. Now it comes in the regular mail along with all the junk mail. I get jury duty mail for people who haven't lived here in 15 years. In my entire life I've been called up for jury duty 3 times. Ignored it every time. Never heard another word.
