Anyone ever had chicken pox as a child, that turned to shingles as an adult?

So i was 7 when i got chicken pox...i had shingles in 2022 after a stressful event in my life.
Anyone else had this happen?

Chicken pox, yep, but not shingles. Not yet. I got the vaccine.

@CloudAngel80 There is one vaccine available in the U.S. to protect against shingles. Shingrix (RZV), a zoster vaccine, was approved in 2017 and it is more than 90% effective in preventing shingles. With Shingrix, protection lasts an estimated 7 years.

@CloudAngel80 I don’t know if you’ve known anyone suffering from shingles, and of course the decision is yours, but I HAVE known relatives and friends with shingles, and suffering is the word.

@Mamapolo2016 no this is my first time having it this bad. Last time i had it wasnt painful, just itchy. Took oatmeal bath and used calmine lotion, this time its all down my leg from calf to ankle
