To anyone who has felt they are non-existent

Or have no Self.... This horrible feeling and condition often rooted in chronic or severe trauma, but my main concern is, how do you heal it?????
Anyone have success finding who you feel you truly are, or feel they've healed the black hole inside that you are almost non-existent as a person??

I think I started feeling better about myself when I distanced myself from certain negative situations and people and when I started a self care journey, and a better relationship with myself. Like realized it's my life, and that's what I matter to myself. Im still healing but it's better now.
