These meds for my buddy

These new medications they put my buddy on are really strong I think. He is so tired and out of it right now. Last night he sat outside with us to watch the game and he didn't say a word for over an hour. He barely ate anything for dinner. He didn't even have a s'mores.

I asked him if he told his doctor and he said yes but they it will take time to adjust to them and for them to get in his system and they want him on the meds for 4 weeks before they make any changes.

I really hope he's getting adjusted to them better because I don't like seeing him like this. He's like a zombie right now.

That’s never an easy thing to see your boy go through man, my honest suggestion is until his meds get stabilized T.H.C. Or C.B.D. Should help with zombie effect from the medication or at very least the hunger.

Another thing to bear in mind is for the first few weeks antipsychotics and anti depressants hit kinda rough.

HYDRATION! That’s the key thing to remember, medication drys you right out and gives you “The Fog” so lots of water will be needed to stay functional.

Sorry I’m not trying to down play anything just give some helpful tips because bro I feel terrible for you and your boy.🙏

@Sleepysheep thanks for the kind words and the suggestions to helping him. But his is my best friend not my son.

@Cigarguy Absolutely broski no problem and I hope things get better your bestfriend there buddy.

Oh sorry about that eh! When I said “your boy” I mean’t your buddy, like how Americans friends call each other “The boys” or “My boy”.

I’m Canadian so my friend wouldn’t be “My boy” he would be “My guy” or “The guys” if there’s more than one buddy present! 🤣

What are the meds for?

@WonderGirl he tried to take his own life and was put in on a 96 hour hold. He was released but is now on depression medications and in a 12 week therapy program.
