I feel bad

Not physically or emotionally. I got hit by a desire for a long hug and to hold her hand ("she" isn't anyone specific, just the general concept of a woman) and now I feel hollow because I don't really have access to that sort of thing. But this feeling will pass just like all the others.

All I can say is if you don't put yourself out there others won't know where to look for you. Someone may be longing for you just as you're longing for them. All you have to do is find each other.
