I hate being ghosted ๐Ÿ‘ป

I feel it often.
Its one thing not to get answers on my first messages due to the warning on my profile, I may understand that.
But its worse to convince people to chat with me though, explaining to them my warning, chatting with them for a while, and suddenly they stop answering without an understandable reason. As if I suddenly have gotten online leprosy or something. ๐Ÿ˜ž

How can people be so cruel and read how I beg for a simple answer up to a dozen times, sometimes over years, instead just answering: "Go away, I don't want to chat with you anymore, because [reason]". Is that so difficult?

Most people won't put in the extra effort to be considerate to a stranger. These are the same people imo who don't wash their hands and leave trolleys without putting them back at car parks.

Or they just move on. Or they can't assert their own feelings because its too hard. Some people can't even say the word "No."

So... Tons of reasons. Just... Keep on at it I guess. Allow people the time to take themselves. I give about 3 weeks before assuming they'll never respond again and move onto one of the other few billion people on the planet. That's how I feel for the first few months.

But losing someone to not responding after years who just stops responding is called loss and is justifiable to grieve for. That's a friend who has disappeared and should be ashamed for not offering an explanation.

At least these are my thoughts.
