I am about to make a stupid decision

This may seem a bit trite, but nobody's perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, even myself. To quote an age-old saying: To error is human, but to forgive is divine." I've made some bad decisions in my past and some of which I found to be more regrettable than others. Now I don't know what "stupid decision" you're about to make, or if you went ahead and done it already, but if you ARE going to do it, at least think of the consequences, first. Remember. Look before you leap, not leap before you look.
