I know I do, constantly. The things that are said to me in real life and I come here and those things are just validated with negative comments here. I will post a picture and it gets awful comments and downvotes.
These are just some of the comments I have gotten.
I had a guy tell me that I wasn’t attractive because my username used to be iamonfire666 and he said the devil surrounded me. I changed it so he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable with me because I don’t want to make anyone feel that way.
I had to have admin permanency block a man here that wouldn’t stop coming at me and telling me how ugly and fat I am.
I am not sure social media is a good thing for people at times. What is it that makes me so ugly though? I know I am not a size 0 and I have struggled with my weight. I have to have a medication every 3 months and I gain 5-10 pounds after every injection. I have to work hard to get it off and then it’s time to have it again.
I don’t feel the need to insult someone based on their appearance. I don’t want to make someone feel badly because I get how it feels.

That is very cruel and unnecessary for people to make those comments . Whoever is sending you screenshots of this needs to stop . They aren't helping you . You are better off blocking this asshats who most likely have micro peens and are extremely insecure themselves to say such things. You are not ugly . You are a Beautiful kind soul. I've never seen you be cruel to anyone on here .
Whoever delights in belittling someone else, especially when done publicly, is a sad and pathetic individual (whether they realize it or not). One can only assume from such behavior that they are incredibly insecure in themselves. Words hurt, but please consider the source before putting too much value into what was said. You are beautiful and no one has the right to tell you otherwise 🦋

Couple things - Why bother saving screen shots of it? It does no good to hang on to reminders.
When you post pictures, those threads take off like wild fire, mostly good comments. Why worry about the ones who do not agree? On that note -
You do not know if many of the negative commenters are just alts of the same person. Could be maybe two or three people with several alts just to make it look like many people.
AND MOST IMPORTANT - If the people commenting are catfish OR if they do not post any photos, their opinion matters none. I do not talk smack about people's looks on this forum because I seldom share selfies myself. I guess when we put ourselves out there, we will get feedback both good and bad.
On a personal note - there's only a couple subjects that people on here discuss that piss me the f^ck off and I have never seen you in those threads so I have no problems with you.
My opinion of your pics - they turn out really well. Maybe try a few different angles or poses now and then just for variety but there is nothing wrong with the ones you have done.
@iamonfire696 yeah......and it's illegal and overly time consuming to seek them out and smack em with a rolled up newspaper. You have plenty of love here. Focus on that and let the negativity slide away
@iamonfire696 you are a beautiful woman and a kind soul. You're very brave with your pictures and that's polarizing for some people. If they aren't able to get your attention, they get mad and lash out.
I've had nasty and horrible comments made too, mainly due to them not liking what i have said on a post, when they bring someones looks or weight into it, they have lost the battle. A lot come here for some kinda escape but unfortunately just as many dickheads here as in the real world, you care, thats why it bothers you so much, find peace with yourself you are beautiful, you don't need validation from anyone here. 🤗

i’ve gotten a lot of similar comments and i want you to know that it really does get better over time as you block people and keep them out of your life. not that it makes the fact that people WOULD do this any less painful! i am so sorry you have to deal with it. it’s evil and you are beautiful - truly - and i’m sorry people try to tear you down.

I have never quite understood why you feel so ugly and I certainly do not understand all these hate comments towards you. You're beautiful physically. The ugliness you feel is in your mind. It's not what others see and I assume those people who call you ugly know its a weakness for you and use it to hurt you.
The only situation where I'd insult someone based on appearance is when they are harassing me and I know it will hurt them enough to leave me alone.
I can't really think of any other situation where I have done it or felt like doing so.
And yeah, I have had people make negative comments about my appearance including regular users. It's ridiculous considering most aren't picture perfect anyway. Seems like somewhat of a given for people to do it without existing consequences, it has nothing to do with you.
The ones that bother me most are the gossipers, that bunch that barge into threads acting like you owe them a debate just because they are trying prove themselves to themselves, passive aggressive peeps and friends that are actually enemies pretending to be friends.

One skill I have very successfully developed is selective hearing. Insecure people and fake accounts on social media can only validate themselves by belittling others. You need to ignore and tune them out. You have friends that are honest and love you, listen to them.
Well theyer all lonely stupid people that hide behind their phone/pc and have to find people that they can pick on to make themselves feel better cause their lives probably suck. And some are probably actually secretly jealous cause they see all the love of people that like you here and actually KNOW you. They say you get hate when you're doing something right or if someone becomes successful they hate. Just how it is sadly. Just whatever you do DONT let ANYONE or any of these people get to you life is WAY to short to care and worry (Not that you do just saying) just keep your head up and keep on going forward!
@iamonfire696 trust me i know how you feel. Ive been told in the past that im too skinny not good looking etc. I mean it use to bother me alot afew years ago. But now i dont care and dont let it get to me because there will always be people that wont like you and will think were ugly etc and thats fine people have their taste they like and opinions and thats fine. I dont live to please anyone and everyone. What i do is focus on me and my friends and family and people that. I KNOW love me and cwre anout me and are true to me. Live for the ones that matter and everything else will fade away. I live for God and dont care what anyone else says or thinks. Not my problem and like i said i dont live to make friends with everyone or live to please all cause its literally IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. Its a pointless battle and will only destroy you in the end if you try to please everyone. So just be you worry anout the people in your life that MATTER and your life will seem to get better and more clear!:) hang in there!!! ❤

Horrible keyboard warriors. I know it's hard but try to let the horrible comments pass you by. They are losers, end of. There are more good folk than bad on here, its a case of sifting them out. You should not (and do not) need to explain yourself and your circumstances to anyone on here in order to justify or counteract any part of a persons comment towards you. Nobody has any right talking to anyone like that. I will say to you in private or in public that you are beautiful and hot. I think that is just a factual statement. But no matter what a person looks like, or how much they weigh, or whatever, NO ONE should be called ugly or any of the rest of that horrible kind of talk. The old song says everyone is beautiful in their own way and that really is true. It is tragic that SW, which is supposed to be a place for sharing and mutual support, has become so cruel to you and to many other people.
@SW-User I agree that people don’t have the right to say those things but they still do. I have seen it all here. A woman telling another woman that she needs to lose weight and it’s her right to have that opinion. Sure that can be your opinion but why express it? I have seen it here many times. Men back these women up though. Maybe if that stopped it would cut some of it out.
I'm so sad you have to stand strong against such negativity. If people don't like you're look they could just move on. But realize they are small and scared probably scarred as well. For the record I changed our interaction because of my own life circumstances. I still think you are pretty and a wonderful person. I think all your positive friends should give a show of support here. Unfortunately in the human brain it takes 8 positive experiences to counter each negative. I hope mine helps a little.

People say idiotic things maybe just to feel better about themselves. As if such an act, could. I know feeling bad for you means little in terms of rectifying the issue but I am. No one deserves shit like that. We are never reduced to portraying the thoughts of others. Keep your chin up. I personally think you're fabulous, genuine and original. All wrapped up nicely. Yep.
Why let other people's mean behaviour into your attention,? Those who loathe their own selves, those who are jealous - they comment like that. I may find someone uninteresting or unattractive or even disgusting, on sw and I have two options 1. get to know them better or 2. SCROLL AWAY Being uncourteous or unkind is just my own lack of happiness & I need to work on that.

Very sorry for what you go through. People really need to realize words can hurt. I know this too well, as i have been told i am an ugly shiitface since the time i was very young. My whole life until now is filled with those memories and words. Many times it has caused me to go into depression.

Hi yes well I've scars on my face for as long as I can remember from black boys with long fingernails in the slums I grew up in. So for many years I felt less than, and embarrassed about how I looked. Am now in my 50's and they have faded some over the years but that feeling of being ugly never goes away. Take care

Witty, outgoing, sophisticated and charismatic, I might look attractive on the outside. But I have inadvertently done things that I am not very proud of. So feeling ugly is a totally different thing in this basket case.
