It should be called "teethbrush"

most people have more then one tooth
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
Then the people with one tooth will feel left out 🤷
Londonn · 36-40, M
@Starsandfire agreed, like teething kids for example, and we konw they hate feeling left out hah
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
Yes, don’t want to rile up the babies! They scary! @Londonn
Kumbayakid · 61-69, M
You’re on to something. Let the renaming begin!! Hairs brush, nails polish, armschair!
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
I feel like I want to argue with you but I can't disagree. The thought of calling it a teethbrush makes me cringe though. Although most things I can think of still use singular nouns for the object. Example bean grinder. Hmm
Shouldn't it be called a water heater, not a hot water heater?
Hot water doesn't need to be heated.

It was invented in Arkansas

Yup. In Arabic we use the plural word 😆

Biden has two with a bridge
How about Brush4Teeth?

Very observant of you, SG. I never noticed the incongruity of a brush for one tooth, although I have one. It is designed for the backside of the last molar. Of course, we usually have four such molars.
Also, most people have more than 1 hair on their head. But you go to get a haircut. No, you go to get them ALL cut. So, it really should be called a hairscut. 🤭
Well it was named with a guy from florida so....
Rickg · 31-35, M
Exactly. One of many bright examples. @PervertedPrincessOfDeath
@Rickg
my personal favourite
esmeralda · 18-21, F
You're right. In Dutch it actually is called a 'teethbrush' (literaly translated) and in some other languages as well.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
It should be called “hairscut”. Most people have more than one hair.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
English is often very strange. Why pants or panties, both plurals?
Lostpoet · M
It's because the brussel is shaped like a tooth.
firefall · 61-69, M
but you only brush one at a time, right?
Rickg · 31-35, M
Mouth scrub
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Mouthbrush.

Not where I'm from.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
That's how you know it was invented by a southerner.
