Is the United States truly united?
I don't see how it can be, with things like the Dems and Republicans wanting to freakin' murder each other. It's pretty sad.

The demoncraps and the republish*ts have been at each other throats since their existence in the USA. What has changed is the "deep base" has discovered politics can serve as a satisfying spectator sport for them by giving them a way to feel like their voice is being heard. When they acknowledge they've been exploited the whole time, they will retreat back to World Wide Wrestling, NASCAR, and whatever remnants are left of the trade association posing as a user's club, the NRA.

@Notanymore I'm your objective reporter. Unbiased reporting is hardly zealotry. And, this trend of substituting well thought out and reasoned theorems for memes, greeting card sentiments, and quips from "respectable men" is hardly something to hang your hat on... so to speak.

No offence, but you're a run-of-the-mill a-hole of a type I run into here all the time who think their values and ideals should extend and define my behaviour as they (and you) see fit.
How about this... you post what you want in the way you want to and we (you and I) grant everyone else that same level of respect and tolerance? Because the alternative of making everyone live to your ideals is, tbh, not a fantasy of yours that I share.
