Yes and it changes a person and some unfortunate souls, never get over it. People are fallible creatures. One learns not to put a person on a pedestal. Don't invest more than you can stand to lose. One good thing is you learn how not to let others hurt you:)

@Oster1: In all honesty I don't pay too much attention to the person behind the pain. It's me who I focus on. I am the one that should be changing. Guess we all have our own coping mechanisms
