A few. All but one in a funeral home. Found a dead guy on the sidewalk as I was going in to work once.

But in anatomy lab 13 cadavers
And body parts of all types and some very old and not so old

And did one anatomy course in freshly non embalmed cadavers several days old

As for dead people it's much harder with people you know

Two. My grandmother in the hospital while we were visiting. She passed away while we were there. My father who died just moments before we reached his hospital room after the hospital called us and told us to hurry and get there.

sadie14 yes I use to be a hospital porter years ago so I have seen them in my work capacity it does not bother me only once and that was recently I saw my dad after he had passed which obviously had a great effect on me

Yes. I've even witnessed a person get killed on two separate occasions.

@Sadie14: Both were during riots when I was still living in The Philippines. One was stabbed and the other was ran over by a car. I don't know if the latter was killed right then and there since he was taken to the hospital after but he did die.

@Sadie14: erm, I was looking after someone in hospital and the person in the opposite bed died, and recently one of the people in my care died and I had to identify the body.
