The Canadian Moe Norman could have been one of the greats but because he was an undiagnosed autistic savant with strong Asperger’s-like traits he had a difficult time adapting to every day contact with people.
Jack Nicklaus, along with other legends like Tiger Woods and Lee Trevino, openly recognized Norman as one of the greatest ball-strikers golf has ever seen. He frequently noted that if Moe was hitting balls on the range, you simply stopped and watched to learn.

I'm an old guy so Jack Nicklaus hands down. Tiger would have been the GOAT if he hadn't lost his fkng mind somewhere along the way. Tiger won more tournaments but he came up one short in the majors. Every pro golfer will agree that your true measure is determined in the majors.
