@beermeplease And built one fantastic golf course and homes around it. It truly made Dublin, Ohio a high-income area and put them on the world stage golf wise.

I went to The Masters several times I would go Thursday and Friday and let someone else use the badges Saturday and Sunday. Just walking Augusta National was an amazing experience.

@exexec nice....my brother went once. one of his suppliers gave him a pass so he flew himself down there. he said the same thing

Nope. But I did see a one-afternoon exhibition in Burlington, Ontario a long time ago. I wonder how many people remember these names -
Al Balding
Chi Chi Rodriguez
Julius Boros (the 2-time U.S. Open champ was my favorite - he looked like my Uncle Charlie)
Doug Sanders

@rinkydinkydoink holy....i might have walked that golf course when i was a kid. i used to live in ontario (brampton) and we had family friends who lived in burlington. their house was on a golf course. i wonder if it's the same one 😄

@beermeplease
It could have been, yep. It's true what you wrote about appreciating their talent. There was one par 3 where the guys all hit their first shot within 10 ft or so of the cup... amazing.

Once or twice, lots of walking.
beermeplease · M
@HannahSky i stayed at the famous 16 tee box grandstand all day sipping beers with my buddy at the phoenix open while his wife walked the course
HannahSky · F
@beermeplease you end up having to stay put after a while, or pick a green you want to see on the course.
beermeplease · M
@HannahSky yeah....when i saw them play in orlando i would switch between back to back green/tee boxes that was nearby the vodka stand 😋

@aboveaverageaveragejoe P.S. Golf isn't a sport, it's a hobby.
