Yes, in college I played it a lot. Was fortune enough in my very last semester to have a couple of serious jocks in my dorm. Kids that played on the university baseball team, and we played practically everyday.
BUT ... it was US Handball, a different game than what's shown :(

I had to add this one .... really good players

@Heartlander Yes, this the handball I played on military bases and college campus in the US.

@Heartlander like squash without racquets

@HotPizza71 yep, they use the same courts I believe. I believe squash is played with one racket, so a bit different because US handball has no backhand action. But use of the non dominant hand adapts pretty fast because a new player will likely see everything served to or played to their presumed weak side :)

American Handball is not the same as handball in other areas.
It seems to be shifting its name to “wall ball” so handball here and around the world will be the same. Unlike American football (soccer) and football everywhere else.
Conjecture on my part.

Why does this not surprise me?? Everywhere else has football you have football you play with you're hands. We call that sorta stuff Rugby and in that we pass the ball backwards but oh no no nno in American Football you pass it forwards... We have metric you have imperial, FFS!!!
Hahaha, I'm joking I'm joking but yeah it all gets somewhat confusing at times, LOLZ!.😅

Not to be confused with hand-egg ✋🏻🏈
Mudkip · 31-35, M
Nope. Being from the US that sport is pretty irrelevant. Football, baseball and basketball are the top sports.
Need more spicy milk

@MethDozerit was a very practical game. Indoor handball courts took very little space and could be played 365 days a year. Also practically maintenance free.

I had a missionary church leader that went somewhere that played it, so we played it in scouts.
Our version was taking turns hitting a ball against a wall.

No, we don't play hand-soccer here
I think it lost popularity in the states in the 00's.
