@SpicyMilk
What is “real” anyways…🙄
SpicyMilk · 18-21, F
@Osogris i mean if something is a common sports that i played by tons of people its way more real then some obscure game a few people play

@SpicyMilk
Both sports have been around for a long time (millenia).
We just call it different things. Neither is obscure, just sharing different levels of popularity.

@Osogris In the 60s, practically every college and university in the US had (US) handball courts. My high school also had handball courts, as did many military installations. Handballs and gloves were available at practically any sporting goods store. As kids, we used tennis balls to play handball because our school had one wall courts, and the tennis balls slowed the game down enough to keep the game in play. A real handball on a one wall court would have you chasing the ball rather than playing the game :)

@Heartlander as Don't forget prisons. Handball is extremely popular with convicts and ex convicts.

Were you a prison guard and a parole officer?

@MethDozerit was a very practical game. Indoor handball courts took very little space and could be played 365 days a year. Also practically maintenance free.
