@DragonFruit as a canuck fan, not a big ranger fan...lol 1994. but what a series that was. we ended up torching our city. i actually ran into glenn anderson not that long ago (he lives in a city near me)...i asked him of all the stanley cups he won (5 in edmomton, and his last in ny) which win was the sweetest...he said with the rangers.

@beermeplease Traded to the Rangers for Mike Gartner, the closest Gartner ever got to winning the Cup. Nobody ever said life was fair.

@graphite when we lost to the bruins in game 7 on home ice in 2011, that was a bitter pill to swallow too...then we really torched our city...a fucking embarrassment....at least when we lost to the islanders in 1982 we knew we had no chance of winning the cup.

@beermeplease I remember 1994 well....the Rangers won the Cup and my father passed away a few months later.

@beermeplease Sharks finally got to the Finals in 2016; lost the first two games and that was pretty much the end of it. But they did win Game 5 and force the Pens to fly all the way to the west coast again instead of winning in front of their hometown fans.

@graphite nice to see there's a few americans passionate about hockey...we just need more of you to get on board with it...but i know it's growing down there.
