The only spirit people will conjure up are demon's pretending to be you! Trust me I know I dabbled in this shiiit when I was young and became possessed, sometimes I hear voices of loved ones but I know it's not them but demons trying to trick me! @saintsong I can speak as someone who never 'dabbled'. No, I studied intently during my seeking...yes, tarot, ouija, all that....is nothing more (at best) than a way to tap into your own mind. Nothing outside. No spirits, no demons, no angels. Simple symbolic imagery to possibly see situations in a different way, your subconscious mind communicated with your conscious one.
'Magic', rituals, spells, curses, including the christian versions.... and yes, they do...they are 95 percent psychology, and 5 percent prayer...and I'm not entirely convinced that the 5 percent has anything to do with it.
It is impossible to sell your soul. The moment you're willing to do so, whatever evil entity that may possibly exist already owns it. Why would it 'buy' it?
Let's stop scapegoating. Temptation comes from within. Have you ever noticed that "God told me to" and "The devil made me do it" are the same excuse? Different sides of the same coin, sure. But they just boil down to "I wanted to, but I gotta blame someone else."
Oh, and just so we're clear, this doesn't come from an atheist. I believe there is something beyond us and beyond this life. Notice I didn't say I know, because the one of the prime tenets of my religion is we CAN'T know.

I鈥檝e been to the places where playing cards are printed. They of course print other cardboard items using the same materials. But when it comes down to showing it works and how it works, crickets.

my shortcomings, my sins, my giving into temptations are mine and mine alone. Even if some entity, call it the devil or any other word you choose, put the temptations in my path, it was me who gave into them. That entity cannot force me into it, therefore the responsibility is firmly on my shoulders.
