Do you accept the story of Adam & Eve as a myth or just a story for more simple humankind?

Found in the Book of Genesis, Adam and Eve are the first man and woman created by God.

Placed in the paradise of Eden, they lived without sin until a crafty serpent tempted them to eat fruit from the forbidden tree, resulting in human guilt, judgment, and their expulsion from the garden.

Creation and Life in Eden
God formed Adam from the dust of the earth and breathed life into him.God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden to care for it.
Finding Adam alone, God created Eve from Adam’s side while he slept.They lived naked with no shame or knowledge of evil.

The Temptation and the Fall
God told them not to eat fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
A deceptive serpent tricked Eve into eating the forbidden fruit.Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, who also ate it.Their eyes opened to their nakedness, and they felt shame and hid.

Consequences and Expulsion
The Serpent:
Cursed to crawl on its belly.
Eve:
Sentenced to pain in childbearing and hardship in relationships.
Adam:
Condemned to painful toil and sweat to farm the cursed ground.
Banishment:
God clothed them in animal skins and drove them from Eden, guarding the way with a flaming sword to block access to the tree of life.
