How do you know the God exists?

Because He answers many of my prayers...
And there's just too much order, too much diversity and too much creativity in the universe for there not to be a creator.

Even if I had no Bible, I would know that God is there and He is real. When I gave my heart and life to Him and accepted Him as my Savior on July 21, 1973, I also received the Holy Spirit of promise, and yes, the Bible does teach that, in case some don't know that, but I knew that without having read it in the Bible. His presence and indwelling, is given to all who accept Jesus as Savior. Through the years, He (the Holy Spirit) has taught me many things. I have also seen miracles. But I like what you said about the universe and that's very true. But I think it's important not to give credit for the universe to just anyone. Almighty God made the universe and the Bible talks about the details of creation, too, so we wouldn't have to guess.

If there's one thing in this whole world you can do... you can rely on God to be trustworthy and faithful to you and he will never abandon you nor stop loving you. I don't care what the rest of these people say. After knowing him for 50 years, I can vouch that he is everything he says he is in His Word. You can never go wrong with loving God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. All three are God in One...the Holy Trinity. When you ask a question like that out in this forum, don't forget you're asking advice from some that don't even know God and therefore will badmouth him. The Truth is found in God's scriptures, His Word. That's what we can rely on. No doubt about it. He is sinless. Incapable of lying.

How do I know God Exists? I would answer with two words. Two names actually. A and B. The first was my dad. The second is my wife. I say is even though she has been dead for several years because she is as much a part of my life as she was when she was alive.

Both of these people were incredible gifts to me from a loving God who through them showed me how much He loved me. Dad and I were very close and when he died I didn’t know how I would get through it. But God lifted me up from the miry clay of grief, partly through the healing arms of my wife.

To understand the rest you have to know a bit about B and me. To say that we were not a normal couple would be a gross understatement of monumental proportions. After all how could we be “normal” considering when we got married I was 36 and she was 72? And right from the start we were so much a part of each other that we read each other’s minds, CONSTANTLY. Not a week went by, and hardly a day, when one of us didn’t say something that caused the other to respond “get out of my mind.” B was my partner in every sense of the word. A lot of married couples refer to their spouses as “my other half.” B really was.

When B died it was hell. How could it not be. And absolutely NOBODY could understand. How could they? They tried (and I’m glad they did). But I’ve never met anyone even close to our situation.

So how do I know God is real? Simple I’ve been through HELL!!! More than once, in fact. And when I had sunk to the lowest pit of hell, and it was threatening to bury me forever, I looked over and found I was not alone. Christ was there to pick me up, and lift me out, and place me in my loving Fathers arms. And He held me in his arms, and cradled me to His chest. And He whispered in my ears that I was His child and He loved me more than I could possibly imagine.

How do I know God is real? HOW COULD I NOT?

Because I had a near death experience and during my experience God spoke to me

God exists because we are him. A fraction of him at least. Each one of us is a little part of him. Collectively me, you, all of us form God. That voice u hear in your head guiding you teaching you right from wrong. We all have that voice. That’s God. He’s tapped into all of us we are him n he is us collectively. Quieting enough to hear him n feel his intuition take practice though. But you can find God within. He’s not an external source away or outside us like you’re conditioned to believe. This is where religion is wrong. They seperate you from him and try to personify God. Truth is he’s inside and he’s everywhere and everyone. He rides with us in life. It’s where his vast mercy comes from he lives all our perspectives with us simultaneously. It’s also why he forgives you because he’s there as u deside to fall he understands your struggles on a personal level. It’s also why Jesus did not want to be glorified and always referenced his father. Jesus couldn’t consider himself god because God is everything n in everyone he’s everywhere and in everyone. You can call his voice intuition.

It's an answer from within. Like you say, looking up at the sky is enough for you and that's all it ever needs to be.

We can’t. So it all comes down to the value you put on truth.
Do an honest evaluation of what matters to you. If like most Atheist, there is too much that doesn’t add up. Ask yourself “is it worthwhile “
If you have doubts, lying to yourself about them won’t make them true.

I don't. I don't know for a fact God exists or not. Most people if they are honest would say the same. I'm not an atheist, you could describe my position as agnostic theist. I don't believe in the Abrahamic version of God though.

I know there are no gods.
