@Soossie I like this angle. as i've mentioned before, but I doubt anyone noticed, I am not against the idea of a god, I might even be a closet theist, I just don't think that if such a thing exists it its even possible for a human brain to comprehend. for this I like the advaita vedenta school of thinking . they have an expression that says "neti neti" , which means " not this, not that" and they use this expression to mean that whenever you think you understand something about god, forget it. its not even possible. not this, not that, its not what you think and could never be what you think because its beyond our ability to understand. so whatever you think it is, its not that. hindhuism is interesting because they don't associate morality with divinity, they associate it more with the physical repercussions of our actions. karma is not a judgment from higher divinities, its just cause and effect. the truth is humans create moral rules in order to live with each other then these rules become part of who we are because we are society, each one of us. but then some wise or evil men see a way to control others with this and then make morality about god and then they take control of the definition of god and then they can control everyone by saying THEIR rules are the rules of god.
