@Ducky good point, I adhere to this sometimes, although today I chose to answer this question in terms of an intelligent design god I do think being grateful to the sun makes total sense because everything we are and everything we love wouldn't exist without the sun. it makes more sense to worship the sun than some imaginary tyrant god.
