Why didn't God just make it so that Adam and Eve couldn't eat from the tree that gives knowledge of good and evil

He knew Adam and Eve would eat the fruit after being tempted by the serpent. I wonder why God put that tree along with the tree of life in the garden of Eden. It must have been his plan all along

Because god gave them free will. What would be the purpose of the “human experience” if we didn’t get to experience it because we were basically robots without free will to think and decide for ourselves

@DeluxedEdition right, that's what I'm saying! Kinda doesn't make sense
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Sweetguy024 i think “it had to happen”

@DeluxedEdition it's possible, maybe God knew that the universe couldn't exist without a little bit of Evil. It's impossible, even God himself can't create a universe without evil. That's why he created Lucifer knowing that Lucifer would fall from heaven and become God's adversary.

When you have enough knowledge of something, you can easily tell if you’re being manipulated into believing something or not.

@Menetics god told them not to eat it… and they choose to eat it.

That has nothing to do with manipulation

They were told two different things and made a choice.

@DeluxedEdition You can’t always follow what you are told. I’ll give you a realistic example. Let’s say you’re a Muslim and with that, you’re restricted from eating pork. You end up stranded in a place where there are a lot of wild boars 🐗 and you’re starving. Will your faith help you in this desperate situation? Would you rather starve to death than eat something you’re told not to consume? I’m not against any religion. I respect them and I have a diverse background when it comes to it. Don’t be extreme with your beliefs. Just follow what's right and discard what’s not necessary.

@Menetics I studied world religions I am very confident about what I believe in

You trying to pick apart Bible verses without even knowing the entire context of the story isn’t it

Why did he bother creating them when he already knew they would be disobedient? Thus leading to death entering the world..death and suffering for billions upon billions of humans and creatures.
Why didnt a forgiving god forgive Adam and Eve?

How much effort would it have taken to put up a fence ?
