Why didn't God just make it so that Adam and Eve couldn't eat from the tree that gives knowledge of good and evil

He knew Adam and Eve would eat the fruit after being tempted by the serpent. I wonder why God put that tree along with the tree of life in the garden of Eden. It must have been his plan all along

When you have enough knowledge of something, you can easily tell if you’re being manipulated into believing something or not.

@Menetics true, thats why were never given enough knowledge of pretty much anything big going on I feel. Less you know and can do for yourself the more you're likely to conform and obey

@Menetics god told them not to eat it… and they choose to eat it.

That has nothing to do with manipulation

They were told two different things and made a choice.

@DeluxedEdition You can’t always follow what you are told. I’ll give you a realistic example. Let’s say you’re a Muslim and with that, you’re restricted from eating pork. You end up stranded in a place where there are a lot of wild boars 🐗 and you’re starving. Will your faith help you in this desperate situation? Would you rather starve to death than eat something you’re told not to consume? I’m not against any religion. I respect them and I have a diverse background when it comes to it. Don’t be extreme with your beliefs. Just follow what's right and discard what’s not necessary.

@Menetics I studied world religions I am very confident about what I believe in

You trying to pick apart Bible verses without even knowing the entire context of the story isn’t it
