Because god gave them free will. What would be the purpose of the “human experience” if we didn’t get to experience it because we were basically robots without free will to think and decide for ourselves

@DeluxedEdition I know why they did it. Im just saying I wonder why God even put those trees in the garden of Eden, in reach of Adam and Eve, knowing that they would eat from it. Even thou he told them not to, he had to of known that the serpent was going to tempt them and that they'd give in to their temptations

@DeluxedEdition it's ok, I think it's just one of those questions that the only answer is that God works in mysterious ways and only he can fully know and understand the answer to the question. Only thing is there's too many cases of "God working mysterious ways" for me to feel the Bible is 100 percent true and God's complete word. Especially since it was written by many different people who were "inspired by God's word" or that God actually talked to them himself

@Sweetguy024 I agree some people argue and say that he did it to test them. But why would he do that if he already knew the outcome? 🤔

@DeluxedEdition right, that's what I'm saying! Kinda doesn't make sense

@Sweetguy024 i think “it had to happen”

@DeluxedEdition it's possible, maybe God knew that the universe couldn't exist without a little bit of Evil. It's impossible, even God himself can't create a universe without evil. That's why he created Lucifer knowing that Lucifer would fall from heaven and become God's adversary.
