Do you believe in the power of your thoughts? [Spirituality & Religion]

Taking into consideration topics like the law of attraction, I was wondering how many people practice positive mental attitudes?

My positivity is in my external world but not my internal world. I'm such a cynical person.

I'm okay with that, lol, so thank you. Wierd is wonderful.

@GypsyKing: I'll start making posts for it today.

Optimism isn't a scavenger hunt, it's really a system of story telling about our reality as we see it. I imagine more people would practice doing so if it were explained to them simply, the alternative is rather boring and grim.

@MysticMermaid456: I'll be sure to outsource any vulnerability challenges to your receptive and positive mind. 🤗

My pleasure deary.
I am a big believer in that. Whether it was Norman Vincent Peale speaking of it in 1948- or Rhonda's new books. It is still the same. The downfall of many who doubt is that they do not visualize, properly- or they do not act as if they already have it in their lives. Many expect instantaneous results. They are ones that become doubters.

@Elandra77: It's such a beautiful practice and if incorporated fully and purely into a lifestyle, the results can be inexplainable. Do you like the work of Louise Hay?
@MysticMermaid456: I've not read much of her- or Jack Canfield for that matter. All have their own tale on the law. Rhonda release a book 4 , one after The Magic, which may as well have been a classroom textbook-I am not sure that was needed.

I have taught parts of it to many. i find it sad how many see it as being "anti religion" or wiccan or whatever.

Louise Hay's work is amazing, I love it very much. I find her books to be so uplifting and inspiring. It's lovely that you pass on and spread your positive energy to others, I wish you well with love and light.

Less often than I should. I took Buddhist meditation courses for a year, some of it stuck and was very helpful for personal growth. As always, it's an ongoing process. 🙏
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
@DanielChristensen: That's so amazing. It's alright to be aware of what sticks with you and what doesn't, it's not always a bad thing to let things go as long as what you keep serves your higher purpose. You seem very wise and I wish you well on your journey.

Love, light and blessings.

You are too kind. Namaste. 🙏
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
My kindness is a reflection of yourself. Namaste dear friend.

Thoughts are nothing but an energy which always moves and get responded from the cosmos.
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
That's also true, but the Universe never provides people with more than they can handle.
Tukudo · 41-45, M
@MysticMermaid456: Right! Cosmos knows the expansion of individual person.
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
It's a beautiful process.
i try to practise positive mental attitudes...
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
Thank you for being so honest about it, your experience is important. Maybe try and research the practice of perceptions? That might be a bit more beneficial for you at the present moment if PMA isn't entirely helping.

Honestly, I used to practice it a lot then I kind of stopped but I've picked it up again and I have been noticing a change. I suffer from anxiety and of course I still have the bouts of anxiousness which is difficult for me to deal with in a positive light but trial and error, I do what I can and I learn from my mistakes.
i suffer from anxiety too.
MysticMermaid456 · 26-30, F
I'm very sorry to hear that.
