Which Is More Important To You, Belief or Truth?

Is Your personal belief more important to you or knowing the truth more important to you? To me, I prefer knowing the truth. If my belief doesn't line up with the Word of God, then I would have to change my belief so that it will line up with the Word of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. Ephesians 6:14

15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3 John 1:4

6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 1 John 4:6

18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Truth belongs to God who established it.
