I agree with the entire sentiment except for when it comes to legality. It is not our job to take care of the entire world it is their government's job to be doing just that. We were not made America too shelter the planet. The people need to rise up just as our forefathers did and replace their own governments if they are not taking care of them. Because you must remember there is not an infinite amount of resources and by feeding the world we are actually taking from our own people

@Diotrephes I'm not sure I want them to, many voted for the fascist so I'm not sure I trust them to reform our government.

@SatanBurger
The point is that if the people in the government oppress you and if they won't change their ways you, as an individual, have the right to revolt against them. Of course if you aren't successful you may be killed or charged with treason.
Remember how oppressed people revolted against the system and finally ended oppressive racial segregation.

@Diotrephes I have to agree 💯
Don't give lots of Christians on here encouragement 🤭
Jesus preached an apolitical Gospel message but with regards to charity, he told us to have a "hands on" approach, he never told us to petition the government.

@LordShadowfire Well, I won't knock the Puritans, they did produce some great Christ centred literature.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic I don't know about that. I've read Pilgrim's Progress, and even when I was a Christian, that was not an easy read.
@LordShadowfire Pilgrim's progress is a great allegory of the Christian life.

@Leatherstrap69 It's really too bad you are unaware of a mode of discourse known as "humor." SAD!!
Leatherstrap69 · 41-45, M

@Leatherstrap69 It's amazing to think that my simple request for info would trigger someone so badly!!
Please state your evidence regarding vaccines so that other SW readers can learn from it.
I think all claims should be checked in an open and transparent way. If you can contribute to open and transparent inquiry, please do so. You are welcome to challenge claims made by government entities; all you need is information in the form of evidence.

Spot on, sadly.

And then Jesus said "For truly, it is easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter heaven. Thus I tell you we should cut taxes such that rich men can afford can afford needles large enough to have camel sized eyes. For with enough wealth, any sin can be gotten off with technicalities."
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@ViciDraco This reminds me of an old SNL sketch. This guy was interviewing the head of a genetics lab where they were trying to breed a camel that was small enough to fit through the eye of a needle, and the interviewer was saying that he didn't think they were interpreting the Bible verse correctly.

Did he get elected to the senate?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
You forgot to Photoshop that picture to give him a red, white, and blue shirt and an AR-15. 😆

@Rolexeo Which is amusing because Jesus in real life, most of the really anti immigration hardline right wingers would hate. He'd be the type to be a common worker. He'd have rough skin and be darker since he'd be in the Middle East and work outside a lot.
