For me "spirituality" is a personal and private affair. It is a person's highest system of values and how they approach such questions as the existence of God, their relationship with God, or of they are not an adherent of a theistic tradition, such questions as what the meaning of life is, what enlightenment is, and so on.
For me "religion" is a social, economic, and political endeavor. It polices the personal and private spirituality of others, condemning and socially ostracizing those are who deviate from defined norms. Religion creates social norms to stabilize and grow societies and communities.
So for me there can be a Christian spirituality, a Buddhist spirituality, a pagan one, whatever. It's just a private personal endeavor, not a big social machine.
My own personal spirituality I generally don't talk about. It's like Fight Club rules. What's the first rule of Fight Club? You don't talk about Fight Club. Same with spirituality.

My adage is: If’s not science, it’s superstition. Also I like being a realist and haven’t the tolerance for magical thinking.

@swirlie You’re posting in a public forum, and so I'll post whatever I like where I like and why I like.
If you find that too challenging, and would prefer to stay in your echo chamber, that’s equally your choice.

Spirituality and religion are opposite.
Religion is about believing, while spirituality is about seeking. When you start believing something, you stop seeking the truth of it.

spirit is what you are left with after you have completely exhausted your mind

Different people have completely different definitions of the word Spirituality.. You can have a Christian defintion of spirituality and then you can have a new ager type definition of spirituality which is a completely different thing..
Spirituality is about Spirits and ones interaction with them.. For Christians that Spirit is the Holy Spirit and angelic spirits and demonic spirits ..

It’s recognising I can’t know it all and in seeing my scale, realising that things can exist outside of my perception capabilities.. spirituality in a sense is trying to enlarge my scale so to perhaps sense more, even if not with my ordinary senses.. and keep on reminding myself that I can’t know it all, and keep on expanding myself hoping that one day I will, connect with something else

Spirituality to me, is all encompassing of the divine and mystical realm.
It's it's a state of mind, not a place, not a being.

What means samsara?
samsara, (Sanskrit: “flowing around”) in Indian philosophy, the central conception of metempsychosis: the soul, finding itself awash in the “sea of samsara,” strives to find release (moksha) from the bonds of its own past deeds (karma), which form part of the general web of which samsara is made.

Just understanding others as I understand myself.
Feeling their level of thinking and decision making from their perspective and letting them Be.
Not trespassing elses' territory.
These steps keep one in check, grounded, not attached like a leech.
I hope to do away with anger too to be The Package ready for furtherance...

for me it is reading the bible, praying, volunteering/helping in my community, being grateful, loving others. i think it is a practice, not just what is your belief.

A coping mechanism, cherry picking, an interpretation of chemicals firing off in the brain, sometimes the pursuit of altered states

Spirituality or spiritualism is merely the belief in spirits existing. It can be part of the divine or exist apart from the divine.

For me, it is a journey into myself, one of remembrance.

Inner feelings, ethics, definitely not organized religion.
