@GodSpeed63 If god and jesus existed then why are they only spoken about in one book that was written 120 years after jesus' "death". Hardly seems like there is sufficient relevant data to support it.
Then again when has religion ever been based on reality
The burden of proof that your imaginary sky daddy exists is on you. No one has to prove invisible faeries don’t exist and your silly book is not evidence or proof. Grow up.
@GodSpeed63 @Sharon @redredred Doesn’t matter, god’s truth has been repeatedly refuted. Do you really care about any so called proof he has to offer, even if he could ?
I say this to the skeptics: if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that God doesn't live or His Word isn't true, then God does live and His Word is True
The Bible is the word of god , right ? The Bible says that space is water. It says the earth is covered by the firmament, a big crystal dome, that both the sun and the moon are inside the firmament. Both the sun and the moon are the same size, and the moon itself is omits light. All lies . And that’s just the first chapter. The fact that god doesn’t live is easier. He has no biological functions, he has no known features, that can be described as living in any definition of the term. He is even described as being outside time and space, which is the same as saying he does not exist in reality. Something that does not exist, can not be classified as “alive “ All the evidence is there right in front of you, even stated in your own book of fairytales. You can’t refute it. And that means god does not live, and the bible is untrue. Start running little man.
That is the subject chunk head. You claimed that we Atheist couldn’t refute the truth of god. We just did. God lied about the nature of the earth in the book of genesis. Since he was the only one there at the time, there is no one else who could have messed with the details. If god can’t be wrong, then he is lying. You can’t have it both ways. You lose again.
Typical ... "Here's a video over an hour long that's proves my point"
How about you give specific points that make up a coherent, well-reasoned argument that supports your point of view?
I'd like for you to prove that I am not God. If man cannot comprehend everything in God's mind, you can't know that he would not take my form. Just take it on faith.
Amen to that. I think my miracle proves that God is real and still in the miracle business. Even my doctor now believes. She could not refute it. The medical records don't lie. https://similarworlds.com/christianity/god-family-friends/4403808-My
@LadyGrace There is no proof that God resolved it. People have "a feeling" all the time and those are usually wrong (just look at gamblers/ lotto buyers or any other situation in life).
Lots of reasons that they didn't see anything in the follow-up. 1. The first ultrasound could have been a mistake. 2. The clot moved. 3. It spontaneously broke up 4. Mistake in the second ultrasound Etc.
As you said, "Statistically" it takes so many months to a year to resolve. That means that the majority of the time it takes that long but it could be an outlier either way.
@zork0000 I'm sorry you don't believe. It wasn't a "feeling". Medical records don't lie. It was a miracle. There was no mistake in the first ultrasound. It clearly showed the clot and two doctors told me that if I don't take the blood thinner I will die. Clots don't just "spontaneously" break up by themselves. Read up on them. Nor do they just disappear after 4 weeks. Not one medical record shows they break up or dissolve in just weeks. It takes 3 to 6 months. Whether you want to acknowledge God's miracle in me, doesn't change the records or the miracle, so think as you wish.
By that logic, if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that The Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't live or His Word isn't true, then The Flying Spaghetti Monster does live and His Word is True.
Presumably if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that there isn't an invisible hippopotamus living underneath my garden shed then it must be true that there is one. :)
Sure I do I got several more photos from the crime scene. You haven’t proven they’re not Yahweh, so I win. Proud to expose you for the fake , frighten, little man you are. Run away now, you lose -again
See, I can keep putting them up, and you can’t tear them down.
I like what Jesus said to Thomas Didymus: “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
How do you know that Jesus wasn't sent by the devil or some other spirit to trick everyone into following them? The Bible tells of Satan coming in a vision to Jesus so he supposedly is capable of such a feat.
Have you considered that you are a skeptic about every other religion except the one you believe in ? Besides, what others believe should not bother you. Belief is about faith.
I'm not trying to attack your religion. I Just ask you to show tolerance toward other religions.
The Bible repeatedly mentions the "four corners of the Earth." Do you think a four-cornered object is an accurate representation of the Earth? It's a simple yes or no question.
Here's a short four corners list:
Isaiah 11:12 — And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Rev 7:1 — And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
Rev 20:8 — And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Ezekiel 7:2 — Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Then we've got "ends of the Earth" all over the place, like
Proverbs 30:4 — Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth?
Job 37:3 — He directeth it under the whole heaven, And his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
If we're living on a sphere, we're never going to reach any "end of the Earth," so surely we shouldn't take passages like this literally, right??
No, it isn't on the skeptic to provide proof that god doesn't exist. It's on you to prove that he does. But you can't do that, because belief in God isn't about proof, it's about faith. This is a simple statement of truth that all Christians know.
@LordShadowfire so is god measureable watch what he does with my life inow iv found him iv spent the last 20 yeaers a heroin addict as a result was in prison for 16 +years havent got 1 qualification no prospects am homeless watch what he can do
I say this to the skeptics: if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that God doesn't live or His Word isn't true, then God does live and His Word is True. You can't ride the fence forever.
So it's fair to say that you take a skeptical position that Allah lives...well skeptic, if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that Allah doesn't live or His Word isn't true, then Allah does live and His Word is True.
So...can you show evidence that Allah doesn't live? Because if you can't then you are hoisted by your own petard😁
And the skeptics say this to you, if you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that your god does live or that his word is true, then you god doesn't live and his word isn't true. We don't need to "ride the fence", the burden of proof is on you as you're the one making the statement...
@GodSpeed63 Don't have to "accept" anything, you have no proof that your god exists, just like I have no proof that he doesn't, that's the problem with mythology...
The truth of whatever God a person believes in the existence of, is something that has yet be to be shown any concrete "facts" and evidence of. You cannot prove that your "true" God lives, and no one can prove that He does not.
@Piper Just one of the ways I know God is alive and real...
The doctors all told her she'd be dead by next week, but God stepped in.... https://similarworlds.com/19-Spirituality-Religion/2840230-Doctors-Told-My-Daughter-Youll-Be-Dead-by-Next
@LadyGrace Although I've always had a fondness for frogs, it is because of the mutual reaching out between a human and a non-human animal that I chose it.
As far what you took the time to reply to me about what is proof to you? I can see how it would be, for those who believe what is wriiten in the Bible to be proof.
You’re opinion. It’s evident within the comments we’re not riding a fence, we have different beliefs that we’re not forcing others to uphold. Personal choice. You do you. We’re good.
Once again: We're not too dissimilar over a thousand different gods are worshipped at this point in time in the world, you only believe in one of them. I believe in one less.
The Bible is a good book has some words to live by, but its just a book wrote and edited by man. It provides no proof of god, thats why its called faith.
SURE IT CAN God is completely untrustworthy. He even lied about being alive . We’ve been doing on every single video and post you put up. You always run away when the evidence turns against you. But we Atheist are relentless. We’ll chase you down no matter how hard you try to hide.
Not so long ago in the place I live, you'd be locked in a padded cell for showing this little rational thought. Bet he thinks Trump is on his side, too. Oh, and guns. Loadsa guns.
@onrealityofdreams A committee of story tellers, writers, and artists produced the first three master copies of the Bible in the late 680s early 690s in England. Each copy weighed about 75 pounds and one still exists. They were written in Latin. There are no authentic earlier copies of the Bible in any language on this planet. All others were derived from these original ones.
The establishment tries to sell the idea that the Bible was written centuries before that time. They are liars. Sure, there might have been scattered bits of manuscripts floating around but they were not in the biblical format that were know today.
The Bible was written in response to Uthman's Koran that his committee had written around 640 A.D.
Of course, Christianity had existed since the First Century but it did not have its fairy tales compiled into a single book.
What does it matter if other people don't believe in God if you do?
It matters a lot. Granted, we all have the freedom to believe what we wish nut we neglect the other side of the coin and be responsible for believing in the Truth rather than the lie. BTW, Christianity is not religion like Islam regardless of what you believe.

We know for a fact earth and the stars don’t match god’s description. And that the universe is billions of years old. If god lied in the Old Testament, then the New Testament is no doubt a pack of lies too. The whole book is crap.
If you can't prove that there are no penguins living at the ice caps on Mars, then you have to concede defeat and admit that they have been proven to exist.
If you can't show any kind of evidence and facts to show that Farblesnozz doesn't live or the Holy And Perfect Gliberoo isn't true, then Farblesnozz does live and the Holy And Perfect Gliberoo is true.
The bad thing about you is that you post less in praise of god , but post more in hatred of skeptics/Disbelievers , And that surely doesn't make you a good christian .
You got it wrong, Max, I don't hate them. All I'm doing is pitting the Truth of God against the lies of man.
