Why Do The Skeptics Flee When Faced With The Truth Of God?

These skeptics claim that God, Yahweh, is not real but fail to support that claim. Yet, they claim that we can't support our testimonies to the fact that our God lives even after we've shown them evidence and scientific facts that He does live.
Psalm 14
1Only fools say in their hearts,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;
not one of them does good!
These skeptics claim that the Word of God, Holy Bible, is a book of myths and fairy tales. Yet again, they fail to support their claims by not showing any kind of historical events to replace the historical events recorded in the Word of God. They try to use science as a means to support their claims but forgot that science points to God and not to their world views.
16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 &17
16For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:16-21
These skeptics have demonstrated that they have nothing to support their worldly views as truth. This must be why they are so frustrated and chose to ridicule and mock us vehemently being that they can't do anything else. They claim that we are ignorant and illogical which is an illogical assumption since they have no support to back that claim up. They work so hard at trying to discredit God and His Word; even us who follow His teachings are under fire. They try to use this tactic as means to look superior to us, but, in reality, they on achieved the opposite.
20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Romans 1: 20-21
Why do these skeptics hate God so much so that they chose not to believe in Him? What has He done to merit such hatred in their hearts? Don't they know that He wants to take them out of this sin cursed world and into His glorious kingdom? Don't they know that they can't do a thing to make Him love them any less or any more?
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:2-6
Salvation from this cursed world comes not from dead atheism or dead religion, but from the one true God who lives forever through Jesus Christ, His Son, by His Holy Spirit.
