Spirituality lead you to.....?

For me, my life changes when I realized that first I need to align my mind with my soul ...I was following religion just get heaven but was not satisfied ....then I came across the real existence of my soul.. my spirit leads me towards the purpose ..my soul was in urge of it's birth integrity....I am thankful to my kind which open the door of self discovery for wisdom ....now I am learning and planning to turn myself completely towards spirituality Because if my soul isn't at peace how can I ?!

How will this get you to heaven when you die? Being spiritual, includes endeavoring to keep an awareness of our spirit/energy at any given moment, yet this has absolutely nothing to do with salvation. This is where Satan tries to fool people. Salvation is not a change of behavior; it is a transformation of character by the Holy Spirit, upon receiving Jesus as your Savior.

@JonathanSJ @LadyGrace I'm sorry for my hurtful words. Maybe it was just me. Maybe I was just too sinful to be forgiven and granted any wishes.
As they say, God is good all the time. Maybe He was being good when he decided that I didn't deserve anything that I'd asked for.
Regardless, faith is what differentiates man from beast.

@rrraksamam You don't have to beg him. He is always ready and wanting to receive us. Jesus never disowned us. If so, He never would have died on the cross to save us from the condemnation sin placed on us. He not only said He loves us. He proved it. I'm sad that you feel God abandoned you, but I have never seen nor heard of Him abandoning anyone. In fact, if it weren't for Jesus and His forgiveness of sins, we would all go to hell, because sin keeps us separated from God until we repent. You said you don't sin anymore. That is not possible. We all sin and that is why we need Jesus, to forgive our sins, as we cannot drag our sins into heaven with us. We are all in the same spiritual boat. In need of Jesus, as our Savior. I think maybe some have given you false doctrine. There are many false teachers out there. Jesus never turns us down or away, when we come to Him for salvation. He never abandons us. Then there are some who put God in a box of their own making. Thinking He must act this way or another, or we don't want Him. Some think and treat Him as if he is a genie in the sky, to do as we say, at our every beck and call. Many also want Him to save us and change us, though we're not willing to turn away from our old life of sin. They only give him part of their lives, not making full commitment. There are many factors to consider. Many never realize the pain and agony Jesus suffered on the cross to pay for our sins, just so we could have eternal life in heaven. Jesus's love for us is not conditional. He loves us infinitely more than words could ever say. But if we really don't know or understand what salvation is about or why we need it, then nothing else will make sense, either. It is Satan that is the author of confusion.

You said nothing to be sorry for. I appreciate your honesty. You are not too sinful to be forgiven or for Jesus to help you. If that was the case, none of us could be saved. He wants to save us all and turns no one away. None of us deserve anything, but God loves us always, though we have sinned. He never turns His forgiveness away from anyone who asks for it. If you would like to discuss these things with me in a pm, as many have, I would be happy to hear from you and we can address your questions or concerns in a quieter atmosphere. Jesus loves you. And so do I, as His follower.

@ABCDEF7 It's not just my belief. Everything I wrote came straight from God's Word, and you don't know me, so don't accuse me, but this conversation is closed. I'm not here to get in an argument.
ABCDEF7 · M
@LadyGrace I am not here either for argument. Every religion says it is the words of God. And the words contradict between different Gods(religions).

As you has not seen God saying it, so technically it has to be your believe. 🙏
LadyGrace · 70-79
@ABCDEF7 I totally disagree. Every religion definitely does not say it in the words of God, but it is not religion that gets one to heaven. They are not of importance since they have not one thing to do with getting to heaven.

God gave mankind the Bible as a blueprint for living life. Scripture is "God-breathed" given to holy men of old, much too precious to entrust to just any person, and are sacred, solid, divine Word given to holy men of old under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. All followers of Christ believe that, not just me. I don't know why that seems a threat to people. It is the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you believe something else that's fine, but don't assume it is only my belief or put them down. We are all in the same spiritual boat...in need of a Savior. Bottom line....sin keeps us separated from God the Father, until we repent. God said it. Not me. I am only repeating His message, as He told His followers to do, and told His disciples to go into the world and spread the gospel, since He ascended into heaven and is no longer here to physically to do so. So we may know, and not have to guess, how to get to heaven. He said, "If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, I will be ashamed of him, before My Father in heaven, when I come into my glory and that of the Father and the holy angels." Luke 9:26

@Alisha233 That's dangerous philosophy. How will that get anyone to heaven once they cross over?
Alisha233 · 31-35, F
@LadyGrace it's not my place or anyones elses to judge how one finds their path to heaven.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@Alisha233 Hardly a judgment. I simply asked a question and made a comment I think is important to know. Jesus said spirituality alone, will not get anyone to heaven. That's all i was saying.
