@ABCDEF7 I love sadhguru
@DeluxedEdition So do I, but his philosophies will not get one to heaven. Being spiritual, includes endeavoring to keep an awareness of our spirit/energy at any given moment, yet this has absolutely nothing to do with salvation. This is where Satan tries to fool people. Salvation is not a change of behavior; nothing we can attain by our own efforts, as mentioned in scripture. It is a transformation of character by the Holy Spirit, upon receiving Jesus as our Savior.

@LadyGrace Don't mix religion with spirituality. Spirituality is above & not related to any religion. When you start seeking & experiencing the truth with spirituality, there is no need of believing in any religious philosophy. You experience the bliss & enlightenment without the religious theories.

@ABCDEF7 That's what I said....only don't mix spirituality with God, not religion. Two different things. A relationship with God is not about religion or denominations. Religion didn't die on the cross for our sins. Jesus did. What Sadhguru teaches, sounds lovely and peaceful. I've watched him many a time on YouTube. However, according to his his teachings, one does not need God. He teaches a vain philosophy in that respect, saying we are gods. We are not. That is a dangerous philosophy. Spirituality is empty and useless without God, in the way that it cannot get us to heaven on its own. Spirituality is not above God. By itself, it is empty and leads to confusion, and Satan is the author of confusion. Our Spirit is what makes us alive, and it never dies, so it is important not to ignore its destiny of which we control by choice. Our spirit comes from our Creator, so it is connected with God. No matter how self-sufficient we'd like to believe we are, we are nothing apart from God and let's see how man's spirituality gets him to heaven, without God. The most important decision man will ever make in his life is made by asking himself one question: Where will I spend eternity?

That's something we cannot afford to get wrong. All the peace and bliss in this world won't get us to heaven without Jesus.

@LadyGrace I think you have not watched the video. There is no heaven.
ABCDEF7 · M
@LadyGrace Satan and the divine are inside you. It's up to you what you explore inside you. Spirituality helps us to find, explore and experience the divinity inside us.
@ABCDEF7 I have watched at least seven. Yes, even the devil would have us believe there is no heaven or hell. I like the man and think he is so sweet and some of his teachings are great, but his philosophy on no heaven and no hell, will end many up in a place they don't want to be and cannot get out of. The bible warns not to believe every who comes along teaching vain philosophies. These are false teachers, it says. Jesus said, their ways lead to destruction. Their ideas don't come from God. I trust God, any day, over man, whose wisdom is limited. It cannot be compared with God's.

@LadyGrace sorry but I disagree. That’s an extremely judge mental way of viewing things. It also tells me that you have not actually heard anything that he has spoken about
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@DeluxedEdition I think we can all learn from our elders. And Indian people are extremely smart. I can hear anyones message and discern for myself whether or not that message is for me

I am not going to hell because I took life experience advice from a person who does not identify as a Christian
@DeluxedEdition Of course we can. And of course you can. Some of his advice is really cool. But when he makes a video, any video, telling people they don't need God (and I've heard him say that), and that there is no heaven or hell, that will cause some to believe that, and that will cause them to miss heaven. Has nothing to do with going to hell because you took life experience advice from a person who does not identify as a Christian.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@LadyGrace yes, I totally agree with you there. That’s why I said you need to have discernment in regards to the advice you keep and the advice that you realize isn’t for you.

Because when he says things like that he is speaking from a place of his perception of religion which does not agree with people like you or myself.

I have not heard him say anything like that (yet) I think it’s bc I am usually seeking out the message I want to hear. I like to hear him speak about controlling anger and one of my favorite seminars he did was when he was discussing why we need more women politicians in power 🙂

@LadyGrace Consider the tribal living in forest. They don't know any language you can communicate with them. They have not heard about any of the religion, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, etc. They don't know what is hell or heaven.

When they die where they will go? Heaven or hell?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@ABCDEF7 I personally believe that god judges them based on their heart and actions and intentions

I used to ask this question as a child

God is just. It wouldn’t be just if God sent them to hell for not knowing him when they never got the opportunity
@DeluxedEdition Jesus said that all will have heard the gospel so they can make that decision, before he comes back.

He also said He did not come to condemn, but to save. Jesus never condemns people to hell. He came only to save. He never condemns people at all. God's Word says it is sin that condemns us and keeps us separated from God, until we repent.

What happens to children and babies who have not heard about Jesus and salvation? They will go directly to be forever with their beloved Creator, who loves them beyond all understanding. They will never be held accountable for something they didn't know.
ABCDEF7 · M
@DeluxedEdition It simply makes this a conclusion that you need not to know or follow any religion in particular. All you need to do is right things in your life ( not necessarily the thing told in any particular religion). You doesn't need a book to know what is right and what is wrong, in some difficult situations, a book may not be able to guide you take the decisions, but if you know yourself and this life with the help of Spirituality, you yourself will be guiding book. You will have the opportunity to help others by guiding them in right direction. Jesus himself was a spiritual person.

@LadyGrace Why only babies & children, why not other ignorant people? It had been the wish of God that they were born and brought in such circumstances that they remained ignorant.
@ABCDEF7
Why only babies & children, why not other ignorant people? It's had been the wish of God that they were born and brought in such circumstances that they remained ignorant.
Because you used the question of the tribes in the forest, I thought it would be helpful to compare that to being the same for children and babies, as people sometimes wonder about them. It is not God's wish that any should perish.

If you want me to answer your questions you'll have to slow down and give me time okay? Thank you.
@ABCDEF7
All you need to do is right things in your life ( not necessarily the thing told in any particular religion). You doesn't need a book to know what is right and what is wrong
We never earn salvation by doing or being "good". That is not possible.
"Grace" is God doing 100 percent of the saving, and our humble acceptance of it, recognizing that we are unworthy and have nothing to contribute towards our salvation. Grace means UN-EARNED favor from God. It is not possible to save ourselves. Jesus does the saving AND NO MAN SHALL PLUCK US OUT OF HIS HAND. JOHN 10:28 God always keeps His promises. We don't keep ourselves....GOD keeps us. John 3:16 says our salvation is ETERNAL.

God gave us the Bible so we would, and could know, and not have to guess on how to get to heaven. He also came to Earth proving that he was God from heaven, and he did prove that, when he died on the cross and then rose again 3 days later from the tomb and showed himself to many people, before over 500 witnesses watched Him ascend back into heaven, to go to His Father in Heaven. God's word says we can never be saved by good works or intentions. That is only because all of us have sin in us, and sin always separates us from God until we repent and ask God to save us. That is the issue at hand. He wanted to make sure we understood that.
@ABCDEF7 God's Word says if any, including Sadhguru, leads people away from Christ and causes them miss heaven, that person's blood, will be on his hands. I love Sadhguru, but according to God's Word, his philosophy on God and heaven are wrong.
@DeluxedEdition Yes, the anger one is a good one.
Because when he says things like that he is speaking from a place of his perception of religion which does not agree with people like you or myself.
Exactly. Religion. Religion is totally different from a relationship with God. Religion is defined as man-made philosophy. It did not die on the cross to save us from the consequences sin placed on us. Jesus did. Sadhguru is a lovely man, smart, handsome and very charming 😂, but he is not smarter nor wiser than God. No man or woman is. Jesus said He alone is the Giver of wisdom, blessings and prosperity, peace, joy, understanding, and all the questions we could ever want answered are found in His Book of Life, the Bible. Sadhguru has a perception and connection with religious philosophy, but no connection with God the Father, and that's what counts, because what we believe and act upon, determines our eternal destination. That makes it the most important decision we'll ever make in our lives. Sadhguru cannot provide our Spirit with a way to get to heaven. I think we either believe God, or man, and I place no faith in man. He cannot even save himself and he sure can't get all the way to heaven by himself. We need Jesus.

@LadyGrace Whatever you are saying is just your belief. You are not able to differentiate between believing and seeking. You will not come out of believing something unless you understand & accept that what you are doing is believing what you don't know in the reality.

Hinduism is not a religion as other majorly Abrahamic religions are. When the people from other part of world came to India, they were not able to identify and religion that Indians follow, so they started calling them Hindu.

@ABCDEF7 It's not just my belief. Everything I wrote came straight from God's Word, and you don't know me, so don't accuse me, but this conversation is closed. I'm not here to get in an argument.
ABCDEF7 · M
@LadyGrace I am not here either for argument. Every religion says it is the words of God. And the words contradict between different Gods(religions).

As you has not seen God saying it, so technically it has to be your believe. 🙏
@ABCDEF7 I totally disagree. Every religion definitely does not say it in the words of God, but it is not religion that gets one to heaven. They are not of importance since they have not one thing to do with getting to heaven.

God gave mankind the Bible as a blueprint for living life. Scripture is "God-breathed" given to holy men of old, much too precious to entrust to just any person, and are sacred, solid, divine Word given to holy men of old under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. All followers of Christ believe that, not just me. I don't know why that seems a threat to people. It is the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you believe something else that's fine, but don't assume it is only my belief or put them down. We are all in the same spiritual boat...in need of a Savior. Bottom line....sin keeps us separated from God the Father, until we repent. God said it. Not me. I am only repeating His message, as He told His followers to do, and told His disciples to go into the world and spread the gospel, since He ascended into heaven and is no longer here to physically to do so. So we may know, and not have to guess, how to get to heaven. He said, "If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, I will be ashamed of him, before My Father in heaven, when I come into my glory and that of the Father and the holy angels." Luke 9:26
