However, one is a Guardian opinion piece immediately before the (last?) Census and the other is tables of estimates from the Office for National Statistics in relation to religiosity in employment and unemployement and various categories of employment.

I am not questioning the validity of the estimates of the Office for National Statistics.

However, I was after census stats. The last figures I have found are in Wiki from 2010. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_the_United_Kingdom

Do you know of any more recent ones?

@Zeusdelight The last census was taken in March so it is possible that the data has not yet been collated. It is the ONS that is responsible for the data so the figures should eventually be on their site.

See https://census.gov.uk/ and https://www.ons.gov.uk/.

If you look on the ONS front page there is a notice saying that they are processing the data.
