@Chevy454 you obviously know little about Christians.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@Chevy454 Spot on.
ladycae · 100+, F
@Allelse you also don't know Christians very well. the majority accepts the part of evolution mentioned in the bible.we just believe God started the whole thing.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ladycae BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Mentioned in the bible?
ladycae · 100+, F
@Allelse yes it is mentioned the bible. try not to piss yourself laughing. you are showing your ignorance. how unique, you insult something. you obviously never read.it doesn't make you look very good.
@ladycae

the majority accepts the part of evolution mentioned in the bible

It does? Which part of evolution is mentioned?
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@ladycae I'm intrigued. Where is evolution mentioned in the Bible?
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ladycae Bahahaha!! No it isn't.
ladycae · 100+, F
@Allelse child you have a lot to learn. but go ahead and laugh. someday you'll laugh no longer. I'll give you a hint. it's in the first chapter of Genesis
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ladycae HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! It's just mythology, it's not real. Religion, none of it. It was just a way for our ancestors to try and understand the universe, they made up stories.

@boopboop It's not real, you're just a deluded coward going in fear of an imaginary being that lives in the sky. Bahahahah!! Pathetic. And ancient civilizations didn't know dick, except for the Romans they were a clever lot now THEY knew what to do with Christians. They put them in a big arena and set the dogs on them!!! Lots of fun.

@ladycae Can you be a touch more specific, please? I can't see anything in Genesis 1 that even resembles evolution.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@boopboop It's not real, it's like unicorns and those little Irish chaps. Oh, and while we're on the subject, if God created everything then God created evil. Which makes him evil. Wrap your tiny noggin around that one.
ladycae · 100+, F
@Bushranger genesis 1:14-24 each evolves within their species. a dog won't evo,ve into cats but feline creatures will evolve in their species
@ladycae

I'm unclear as to which part of this might be considered a reference to evolution.
Can you help me out?
ladycae · 100+, F
@Bushranger remember the writers of the Bible were not scientists so they could only describe things their own frame of reference. in the book of Daniel, there is a description spot on of a helicopter, of money to pay for a loaf of bread but they didn't know helicopters. it talks about inflation as taking a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread. if you honestly read the Bible with open mind and some smarts it's amazing what is there
@ladycae

But how is producing "after their kind" indicative of any kind of evolution?

in the book of Daniel, there is a description spot on of a helicopter

Are you sure it's in daniel? I can only find the one in revelations and "spot on" would rather be pushing it.

P.S. Are you ignoring me? I mean if you are whatever, i just don't want to keep asking you questions if you're deliberately ignoring me lol
@Pikachu I can barely find the words... This is all I can find and even then it takes a big stretch of the imagination.

"The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months."

Helicopters do not look like locusts or horses. Have no crowns of gold. Do not have human faces or hair or teeth. Unless painted on. The only two things that make sense are breastplates of iron and the sound.
ladycae · 100+, F
@Pikachu no i'm not ignoring you. just a lot going on.because God did not create animals as we know them now. but they have evolved through time into what we know. read what i wrote bushwanger. remember the time and culture they were written. they had to use what imagery and vocabulary they knew.
@canusernamebemyusername

Yeah that's the one i found. Calling that a description of a helicopter seems like a stretch. Calling it spot on seems ridiculous. That's why i asked her if there was a different passage.
@ladycae

Yes i did read that but all it says in genesis is that they reproduce after their kind. I'm not sure of the steps between that and the conclusion that this represents evolution within families.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@ladycae Genesis 1 is a good description of creation, but not evolution.
