Why wouldn't we?

Is god's covenant with man based on what planet we live on?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Pikachu I don't know if it is earth-based.
@MarkPaul

Based on scripture, what suggests that the pertinent factor is earth?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Pikachu Not saying it is or isn't. I'm asking the question.
@MarkPaul

Sure. And i'm responding by asking if there's any reason to suppose the message of salvation in the bible is related to what planet we're on.

@Pikachu Okay.
@MarkPaul

ok🙂

@Pikachu If we lived in a planet that did not have a day or a day consisted of several years, that might change things a bit for people trying to Keep Holy the Sabbath. And if we just lived on a ship floating in space that would also mean there was no day.

I also wonder if we do end up in a planet with all alien creatures forbidden to be eaten as suggested in Leviticus. That might cause trouble for those who want to keep to that strict diet.
@JesusChrist

Depends what buddy means by "covered".
If he means that jesus died for our sins so that we could have ever-lasting life then it doesn't matter where you are.
