If humans start living on other planets will they still be covered by "our" bible? [Spirituality & Religion]

Tracos · 51-55, M
I don't consider myself covered by any Bible on this planet either
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Tracos You ARE covered when you were granted free will.
Tracos · 51-55, M
Rubbish ... Free will existed way before any Bible was created

Adam was created from the Earth and Eve was made from his rib. I’m not sure how going to other planets would change that.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@Pfuzylogic What makes you think that I'm a multiple book reader? :)
Pfuzylogic · M
@Thodsis
I wouldn’t claim that for you.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
Why wouldn't we?

Is god's covenant with man based on what planet we live on?
@MarkPaul

ok🙂

@Pikachu If we lived in a planet that did not have a day or a day consisted of several years, that might change things a bit for people trying to Keep Holy the Sabbath. And if we just lived on a ship floating in space that would also mean there was no day.

I also wonder if we do end up in a planet with all alien creatures forbidden to be eaten as suggested in Leviticus. That might cause trouble for those who want to keep to that strict diet.
@JesusChrist

Depends what buddy means by "covered".
If he means that jesus died for our sins so that we could have ever-lasting life then it doesn't matter where you are.

While in space there wont be a Sabbath day because up there, there is no day and night. We may end up in a planet with a very short Sabbath day or a very long Sabbath day.

If you keep the strict leviticus diet you might not live very long. Unless the technology we bring with us allows us to it.

actually it's possible some planets do not rotate. Some rotate enough that a side is always facing the sun/star, known as tidal locking, and therefore no 1 day even. Could there even be planets whose day equal to wekks, maybe even months, maybe even a year or many years even?

This would be problematic for those who want to keep holy the Sabbath.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
Hopefully not. Why would anyone want that?

I think the truth will be out by then. 👽️
