No, God is nothing more than a Mythological being created in order for our ancestors to explain how they came to be with the lack of scientific knowledge or equipment to say otherwise. The Creation story for instance was written more as a poem than as something that should be taken literally.
@BiblicalWarrior that is more within the realms of the Human body, more to do with poor wording, I have a basic and mediocre knowledge on the Human body and diseases etc, just not enough to place me in the medical field.
I never said that I was not an expert at anything, @rckt148 I am not an expert at anything, Not only are you wilfully ignorant, you are a liar as well. Conversation over
@BiblicalWarrior I not lied there, no I never said I was an expert at anything, and conversation with rckt148 was about medical issues that supposedly existed, which is a subject I am not an expert on. The only thing I have lied on is that yes the Human torso can crush ones lungs if unsupported, but was more to push out one guy to either tell the truth, name the ailment, or make further mistakes in their argument.
When it comes to religious and spiritual matters, we hear so often, "There's only One." Also, there's been a lot of talk about "duality," and how it challenges our alignment with that "oneness."
It would seem the question, "Do you believe in God?," implies a duality - you, being one, and God, being another. There's an implication of separateness.
My view of God, is that all which God is, we are, also. Being built in His image, as it were, we are all "individuations" of God, each one of us and everything in this world, containing the totality of God, in the same way one drop of sea water contains all of the elements of the entire ocean.
I consider the notion of belief OF God. I believe OF God, not IN God, thereby recognizing the oneness we ARE with God, not the separation, the duality, between us and God.
Being OF each other, results in oneness. In math, 1 times 1 equals 1. Another way of stating "times," is "of."
"God" is an acceptable term. I believe in a fixed design which includes love, kindness, compassion, friendship and a natural inclination to align with that design.
@Speedyman Please expand your mind a bit and see that not all it literal. For example the Bible is impossibly poetic. It is full of mistakes and contradictions. Do you know what a metaphor is? And you are asking me to use a bit of intelligence? Amusing, just really amusing.

That's a broad question. The God of the holier than thou bible, no. A higher all knowing intelligence yes. I have no idea what it is though, I keep an open mind.
