I've often encountered the argument from christians that if god isn't real or if evolution is true then how can there be morality? [Spirituality & Religion]

I'd like you to think about that question and posit an answer.
Not an insult, not a criticism. Just think about the question from the perspective that god is not real and see if you can think of an answer to how there could still be morality and moral behaviour.

If religion and belief in God comforts others when in distress or in great need or likewise helps you live a better quality of life why would you judge? Just go about your ways as others do.

@SW-User Agreed. However Christians always feel they must preach. Thou shalt do this, though shoudnt do that etc!

@Harriet03 Yeah I'm afraid to admit you're right, I've had a lot of mis-"judgement" passed on me by said Christians lately and it's so damn easy for them to throw the guilt card at you when they think you're in the wrong and they're in the right and all that nonsense. So long as you're not killing, or hurting others then I'm sorry I'm not responsible for the offence your ego has taken xD It's as simple as that :P

I don't find that to be a generally objectionable sentiment but i do wonder what it has to do with the subject of this thread...

@Pikachu God and Christians and morality are the subject. No problem. I just gave my opinion.

Well...ok, sure.
