My Muslim Friends are very good humans. Why do people hate them? [Spirituality & Religion]

They even come at my house on festival occasions, and even touch the feet of our god idols..
They invite me at their festive occasions like eid, that's how beautiful the diversity is..
But in my country they're generally hated recently in a nearby province there were riots among Hindus and Muslims.
When will common people understand that it's not the kid of the rich politicians that's gonna die in the riot but us common citizens on both sides.

In this day and age Muslims are widely mistrusted. Whether by personal experience or the"fake"news. (Only fake when talking about the trumplets or their supreme leader.)
I would feel better to see some self policing. If Muslims were out protesting the Taliban or bin Ladin that would help my narrow mind.
My church has a history in the crusades. That past and today's legal matters. America has its share of people that follow a stricter interpreting of scripture. Some handle snakes some bomb abortion clinics.
I believe most mankind has a sense of right and wrong. Maybe the true martyr is the one that stands up to ruthless religious leaders.
A just man causes the devil more affliction than a million blind followers.

muslims blew up historic statue of budda in afganasation despite the worlds leaders and the pope betting the muslims not to do it. the muslims said the statue is a slap to the face of allah and must be destroyed. muslims other places destroyed historic sites thousands of years old saying the same thing. muslims believe women should not be educated and are the property of the husband and have no rights. mulims believe its right to murder women and kids. and are doing the will of allah when they rape women. here is a link to what muslims do.

@SW-User Wrong. To get rid of religion as we know it would take a better religion. I can understand your disappointment in the magical variety.

Fear and ignorance. It's such a shame.

@dequesnewhistle To give some background into how I arrived at my way of thinking on the subject.

@dequesnewhistle Politicians do come into Conversation.
My father is a Shivsena corporator, it's a big ruling political party in my state and has a history provoking Hindus.
For example, There's an old mosque in a city called ayodhya. Priests say Ayodhya is a city where lord Ram was born, every temple in the city claims that's where hindu lord Ram was born. But these politicians chose the mosque instead said thats where he was born and sent thousands of hindu youngsters to destroy the mosque because Mughal rulers and emperor's have brought these ugly things to the holy hindu land.
This happened 15 years ago now again our party has raised this to divert focus from issues like development and policies.
Everything is done by politicians for their parliamentary seat.

In South Africa we have a bunch of people of different religions living next door to each other and we have NONE of this kinda "hate".

Our kids play together, we share mutual respect for each other's religions, we inter-marry, date, visit, eat... hell we f*ck together!

But I think we cannot ignore that there are religious extremists, but it would be unfair to label everyone the same and sadly this is what it is coming down to.

People are normally nice. But when extreme conditions arise they'll either transcend or become rigid with their own beliefs and don't see reason. That's what happens with Muslims mostly and also people of other religions. I've seen that happen with my friends and sometimes myself.

I don’t hate anyone who’s good. But those who don’t stand up for what’s right leave this world to ruin bc they chose to from ignorance

That's the story..
Meetings for such things on the ground level are held at mine or sometimes the mayor's house. I goto college, have friends from different backgrounds I understand how horrible these things are, in 2019 there are parliamentary elections. As a preparation to win them Shivsena needs to polarize hindu votes.
I see these things with my eyes but not everyone is able stand up like a hero and stop it, if I say anyword my uncles and father will slam me and say we gave you a hotel to run, because you don't wanna live in politics so shut up and get married and look at your own life.
And i fear ostracism because it's much worse in place.
American and European people have a Sane life, you won't find miserable people day to day and among your group. While here at my place, if I'm sitting chit chatting with my friends would look at me and tease why are friends with "landyas" you wanna become a "landyas" too? an offensive word which means chopped dicks.
When I read those quotes about "Standing up against evil" and those shit. Know how hard it is..
Because people are scared of the unknown and are too lazy and arrogant to be informed so they choose to be ignorant.

My new mantra has been all religions are like fingers on a hand. Tolerance can be taught by example.
