My Muslim Friends are very good humans. Why do people hate them? [Spirituality & Religion]

They even come at my house on festival occasions, and even touch the feet of our god idols..
They invite me at their festive occasions like eid, that's how beautiful the diversity is..
But in my country they're generally hated recently in a nearby province there were riots among Hindus and Muslims.
When will common people understand that it's not the kid of the rich politicians that's gonna die in the riot but us common citizens on both sides.

That's the story..
Meetings for such things on the ground level are held at mine or sometimes the mayor's house. I goto college, have friends from different backgrounds I understand how horrible these things are, in 2019 there are parliamentary elections. As a preparation to win them Shivsena needs to polarize hindu votes.
I see these things with my eyes but not everyone is able stand up like a hero and stop it, if I say anyword my uncles and father will slam me and say we gave you a hotel to run, because you don't wanna live in politics so shut up and get married and look at your own life.
And i fear ostracism because it's much worse in place.
American and European people have a Sane life, you won't find miserable people day to day and among your group. While here at my place, if I'm sitting chit chatting with my friends would look at me and tease why are friends with "landyas" you wanna become a "landyas" too? an offensive word which means chopped dicks.
When I read those quotes about "Standing up against evil" and those shit. Know how hard it is..
