Many reasons. Difficult to explain, but the most important reasons would be:
[c=#008099][b]1# Logic[/b]:[/c] Why are we here? Did earth come into existence from nothing at all for no reason at all, or did it come into existence from something and for a reason?
[c=#A69800][b]2# Science[/b]:[/c] We know that time is infinite. Not only does it stretch into infinity and beyond in the future, but also the past. This means that time is not a linear line but something beyond our ability to understand.
[c=#7700B2][b]3# Fulfilled Prophecies[/b]:[/c] The Bible's words proves to be true to this day, and this gives me reason to believe in the religious texts.

@Pikachu Since half of it was insults. Look, I've proven scientists wrong before, but if they have the attitude you have then it does not matter what I say. In the end after 10 hours of back and forth debating you'll agree to what happened but you'll basically say it was a coincidence becuase "if you say many enough prophecies some are bound to be fulfilled" bla bla bla... And if a scientist on here with the same mindset turned to that silly argument, then I doubt that you would be much more objective. Especially since your insults are even more intrusive, trying to just spike a argument, and not a debate.

We are all sinners. I believe that God is an understanding God. He knows your heart better than anybody. If you have unknowingly sinned, how would you know to ask for forgiveness?

i believe in god because he has proven himself to me. day by day he walks and talks to me. his word guides my life and shows me what will happen today, yesterday and in the future. i would be nothing without him.

@MaybeTooNarcissistic Not everyone believes in god. What makes Jesus different is the meaning of all the things that he did for us before he was crusified. Jesus Christ took the burden of everyone’s sins and gave us power and authority over all evil spirits: meaning nothing can separate our souls from getting closer to god. And yes it does require faith. But if you read the Bible everything that was predicted is happening right now and has happened in the past too. Take in consideration too that the Bible has no mistakes in it. It is perfectly written without a mistake. Now if that’s not enough to convince you that Jesus Christ is the real and only god then that’s fine.

@MURD3RM0NK3Y You made the mistake of using the bible as a reference. If one does not believe in the bible, then they will reject your premise. Furthermore. God with a capital G is different than lowercase. God, in Christianity, is YHWH, Yahweh. Lowercase, it can be money, family, work, anything you want.
