This is the Jason Aldean version because the Bryan Adams version will make me cry and go dark remembering a much better time in my life. What's ironic is we would sing karaoke many years after our breakup and he would always choose this song. More than once this song caused me to spend the night with him when I had not intended to. It took meeting another man that taught me my true value for me to give up hope on him. He actually has called me every day this week. He goes right to voicemail. I will get to listen to him tell me he still loves me and no telling what other lies.
