Women have lost a huge right to healthcare while the rights of mass murderers remain.

We are in the Bizarro World.

Abortion is mass murder whose numbers make the Nazis seem like nice guys. I don't support Nazis and I certainly don't support abortions.

@hippyjoe1955 I don’t understand why you would think that I said he committed suicide because he was gay. I simply said he could have been bi or gay and you may not have known. He may not have known yet. I never said anything of the kind when it came to his reason. I’m trying to be respectful but you make it kinda hard when you don’t reciprocate and haven’t been respectful to me this entire morning. But I’m not interested in being friends. I am willing to listen to people that don’t have the same viewpoint as me. Something that you might want to consider. I look at a lot of life through a “probability and statistics” lens and I do my research before I speak my mind. Again something that you might want to start doing. Or not. It’s still a free country. For now.

@2cool4school No you were trying to make the point that gays kill themselves. You then tried to attach my son to the gay movement. He was aspergers and if you know anything about it you would know that aspergers commit suicide a lot!

Women didn't lose rights to healthcare.
The Supreme Court said aborting babies isn't a constitutional right and States can still allow them if they like.
@FreeSpirit1

Right, a decision that will give states the grounds to take away a right that women previously had.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
@Pikachu Like I said, the House and Senate can create a federal abortion law whenever they like, they won't because they like handing off controversy to the courts. If abortion law is so popular it should be easy to enact a law protecting it, right?
As it stands now the court did not say abortion is illegal they said it's not a constitutional right and is a State issue.
@FreeSpirit1

And like i said, the decision that it is not a constitutional right where before it was means inevitably that millions of women will be stripped of that right.

abortion is murder

@hippyjoe1955 nor were you and you were actually eligible. Draft dodging in Canada is like hockey National sport.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@2cool4school There is no draft in Canada. During WWII there was conscription. It didn't last very long though the nazis in Quebec opposed it and the wartime government didn't really enforce it. I joined the CAF as a way to pay my way through university. Something I did without student loan.

@hippyjoe1955 admirable if true. However you have given me too many reasons to believe otherwise.

So killing a human life is healthcare? 😂
@Magenta What?
Adogslife · 61-69, M
The Republicans are really digging themselves into a huge hole. Voters will understand (to a degree) that the economy is cyclical. They won’t understand that 50% of the population just lost the federally granted right over their own bodies.

It’s so odd to see us head backwards.
TexChik · F
@Adogslife and it was a bad ruling , the evidence given at the hearing was false, the girl wasnt raped after all. And so no, the scotus just cleared up that mistake.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@TexChik So for 50 years I guess women were deluded into thinking we cared.

I’m glad SCOTUS was able to clear that up.
TexChik · F
@Adogslife I am too, the constitution has nothing to do with abortion. Tell the 63 million dead how much you cared.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
uh no, murder is still illegal, as it always has been.
@boudinMan

Consent and bodily autonomy are fundamental human rights.
Even if you consider a fetus a person (silly) then the fact remains that no person has the right to make use of another person's body against their will.

This ruling is a violation of human rights. Simple as that.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@Pikachu and what about the right to life... what is that?
@boudinMan

Already addressed it .

You have a right to life, i have a right to life.
Say I'm going to try to take your kidney against your will and the only way i'm going to stop is if you kill me.
Does my right to life trump your right to personal bodily autonomy and your right to defend that autonomy?

Yes or no?

@Magenta I would appreciate it if the original poster answer your excellent question

Fewer babies means fewer soldiers. FYI
