@BritishFailedAesthetic i currently hold a green belt in karate and starting a band. I do this because i don't believe working for somebody who sees me as a cog in a machine is living a fulfilled life

@Guitarman123 Being part of a "band" is being a cog in a machine.

@JPWhoo because they've been conditioned to think thats in their interests

@Guitarman123 Not just for that reason. Conservative minds are less sensitive to novelties and thrills and more aware of potential dangers.

People romanticize the past, but it wasn’t a one size fits all reality. It changed because it didn’t suit everyone. People who want to live that way in their own homes still can, if they can find a willing partner. Problem is, so many of them think everyone should live by those rules.

Because at that time the economy was super strong, only one job was needed to support a home, the costs of goods and services were super low in ratio to wages and salaries, and being a housewife wasn't ridiculed, but admired and respected.
Loopysoutherner · 56-60, F
@NativePortlander1970 it wasn't admired and respected. That's a flat out lie
@Loopysoutherner Found the brainwashed modern women's libber
