Do women need to tell men?

If you're having problems in the relationship do we as woman having to tell you exactly what we want. What we like and what we need.
Blondily · F
Men need to tell us too. Sometimes they become silent and withdrawn and if you ask whats the matter they will say nothing until you finally get them to open up!
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Blondily Unless you can read your man like a transparent thong.

My man can never hide anything from me I just need to shift my focus to him and I can count up all his issues he haven't even told me yet. He hates how scary accurate I am too 😂
Sweetpoison · 36-40, F
Yes, men just don’t get it, you need to draw it🤣
@Sweetpoison We need pictures. Lol
Sweetpoison · 36-40, F
@Sojournersoul i know 😁
Communication always helps …

There’s nothing wrong with telling your man what you need … he might provide or not … You only have to be able to take no as an answer with understanding his position and without any hard feelings ..
I think this works both ways. The more open conversation and communication, the better
It couldn't hurt. It's not like we can look into a crystal ball and already have you figured out :)
No you can carry on being cryptic and get upset when we don’t understand wtf you want.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Only if you want to hear his answer and it may not be pleasant for the woman to hear his complaints about the relationship. Far better to be the best wife you can be and in so doing encourage him to be the best husband he can be. And in so doing recognize that just as the woman is not perfect nether is the man.
lwshm64 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 I'm never afraid of the truth cuz it sometimes cold hard and ugly but the LIE is 10 times worse
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
No. Men are magic,they read minds.
needsmilk808 · 56-60, M
Only if you want to make the relationship work, flourish and grow. The only path is open communication and it has to be both ways, and both parties must actively participate if the relationship is to work.
Mktonght · 61-69, M
The above thoughts from me are spot on.
Communication, respect for each other, our ability to see for ourselves, and we really want to know if it is a relationship that will last.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
They do. I stay single because I get tired of telling someone how to treat me 24/7. Pay attention.
IllThinkOfSomething · 26-30, M
@AlchemyFox I'm willing to bet you just drop hints or send signals. We don't get those. Just speak
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@IllThinkOfSomething no I'm very upfront, but I get tired of asking over and over to be considered. I'm not a needy woman, and I don't want to be with someone who is instinctually helpless sorry.
TexChik · F
Yes ! I think so . Men want to please us but are often clueless. They would appreciate the info !
Zeuro · 26-30, F
“Is communication necessary in a relationship?”
Oster1 · M
@Zeuro Do you really have to ask this?
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@Oster1 r/wooosh
There is no one size fits all. Every one has different needs.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Desolate Exactly! Thank you.
exexec · 61-69, C
I appreciate it when she does tell me. Sometimes I miss obvious signs.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
I already gave an answer but let me complete it.
Yes, both should tell each other what they feel, think and need.
Yes, communication is important. Yet........... it´s not a magic spell.
What is said, it´s content, the stuff outside the minds to which words point at may be the line that defines mutual compatiblity.
No amount of communication can replace it.
Telling a men what you need and want can be quite useless if the man is not a good listener....i learned to be a great listener as a man by having and maintaining female friendships throughout my life and grasping their perspectives on life especially when it comes to male behavior....it has helped me grow
IllThinkOfSomething · 26-30, M
YES. Why do you women seem to think men will just know things? For the love of holy things, speak. It's not hard either, but you'll freely stew over something because you refuse to tell what the thing is. Be upset if you want, at that point it's entirely of your own making.
Bleak · 36-40, F
redredred · M
Only if you want things to change. Or do you think a woman’s brain is do simple that any man should somehow be able to intuit what your thinking? If so you’re being pretty insulting to women.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
Yes, you as women have to tell us exactly what you want.
Or in any case, it is very helpful.
Why should we just guess??
Every one needs to tell the special people in their lives. No one can truly read minds.
Kstrong · 56-60, F
@thinkingoutloud the ex thought he knew what i was thinking
@Kstrong did he?
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Yeah prefferable just bluntly state whats wrong so we can get over it. I doesnt have to take days of whining.
Kstrong · 56-60, F
We can tell them many times, it up to them to hear what was said, listen, and follow through
Allelse · 36-40, M
Communication is key between both parties, the gender doesn't matter.
CuddleFeesh · 31-35, M
Duh. Its called communication. If men were mind readers we wouldnt need you to tell us.
Absolutely. People can't read each other's minds. And our anatomies are very different. 😉
Oster1 · M
BINGO! Absolutely! ANYTHING, to help the relationship! 😊❤️💐
antonioioio · 70-79, M
When things get too demanding
We suffer from selective hearing 😊
Musicman · 61-69, M
That would be a smart idea. Don't wait for us to try guessing it.
No. Men are mind readers. Everybody knows that.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
Yes you have to. Remember that men are from Mars. 🫥
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
They are supposed to be able to read our minds
sure get it all out on the open,,
Both need to be communicating with each other. Misunderstandings can result from either side.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
Both should
turnedtostone · 56-60, F
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
They need to be told specifically
empanadas · 31-35, M
