People who have been cheated on - what were the red flags you ignored at first?

I have cheated on him and I'd say one of the red flags had been, sleeping with him way too early in the relationship.

edit/ I mean, if they sleep with you too early from the beginning, there is a great possibility they're easily going to be given elsewhere if circumstances meet.
I've fully forgiven myself now but I think it's a sign of health to take time to dance the love dance.

The very first one, she texted me at 7pm, then not again until almost 1am. She's not normally up that late & if she is, she would've been texting me.

So I asked what made her get home so late & she said she didn't. I wasn't there so I couldn't confirm that. I chose to believe her. Then this past weekend I found out that same night I had that feeling, was the night it happened 😒

There were no real red flags on his part. What I wish I had not ignored and had taken seriously were his requests of me. He had issues and I never took them seriously. That is what led to the cheating.

That he wasn't talking to me very much when he was on work trips, I thought he was just busy but he was busy doing not work.

She would drink alot and get really close to people when drunk stating she had no idea of thier intentions when it was super obvious.

She says she "wears her heart on her sleeve" and cares for everyone.

She kept contact with ALL of her exs.

She would be a slob when at home but meticulously clean the house when im at work.

She would get super jealous and paranoid if i even talked to a female for a minute. But expect me to not care when she hangs out with other guys.

She would get very defencive when we argue about it and angry when i didnt leave the house after a fight.

The context of her mindset was "i hate you, dont leave me".

Red flag: when she says something to the effect of " we're completely missing each other" ( we're not on the same page) - it's her admitting "you've lost me ( and im not sure i want to be found) "

Had to change phone number because strange calls at all hours. She also said some stranger was making threatening calls

His drinking

He told me I didnt have to share my phone with him.

Idk I've only ever been the one cheating so you'll have to ask all my exes 😂
