Before being able to teach anyone anything one has to take responsibility for own behavior. As long as someone isn't able to stop excusing their own wrongdoings they won't be capable of teaching anyone anything.

@Pretzel I made that statement because, not only do individuals do horrible things, very few people seem to be doing much to try a d stop it, prevent it and make actual meaningful changes. That makes us as a whole, a disgusting species. We just keep shrugging, asking what can be done as if that is all one can do.

@FoxyGoddess I get it. And understand that life should be better. I think the question how do you prevent it is valid though. Because throughout history we have not been able to effect a meaningful change.
